VIRTUAL EVENT | BST Timezone

“The Global Digital Economy is expected to be worth $18.5 trillion by 2030.”

WHY ATTEND

In 2020, 36% of institutional investors had invested in digital assets, but 80% indicated that they would be interested in products that included digital assets. The biggest obstacles to investment were a lack of market understanding, and an inability to gauge value. (Fidelity)

Digital Infrastructure Investment Connect takes the effort out of meeting your future investment partner. By bringing together investors, asset managers, private equity, and consultants with infrastructure operators, this event will accelerate investment in digital infrastructure across categories including towers, fibre, submarine cabling, and data centres.

Our matchmaking programme will allow you to network with the right people. Whether you are looking for a specific infrastructure class or investors with a certain target size, our platform will take the work out of identifying the most relevant attendees at this event, making the networking time efficient, and driving investment activity across this space.

For investors, this event will deepen your understanding of digital infrastructure and strengthen your network of infrastructure operators. For operators, this event will allow you to showcase yourself in front of investors and asset managers and build your network in the investment community.

CEO and founder of Diffraction Analysis, Benoît Felten is a recognized expert on issues related to Next-Generation-Access. Felten’s expertise stems from an understanding of the business model issues of fixed network rejuvenation and from there expands into all aspects impacting the business model: technology choices, service opportunities, go to market strategies, regulation, etc. He also analyses public policies aiming at promoting the deployment of fiber rich networks.

With 5G approaching, his expertise develops outwards as the lines between fixed and wireline broadband blur, architecturally and from a policy perspective. His recent work has focused on addressing market stability issues and risks of increased digital divide that may result from a haphazard development of 5G.

Before starting Diffraction Analysis, Felten was a Director of Access Network Research at Yankee Group where he led the company’s research efforts in the NGA field. Prior to that, Felten was a Telecoms Consultant for 8 years, and even further back worked at deploying and selling fiber access to businesses in Belgacom's French subsidiary.

Felten lives between Hong Kong in Paris. He complements his day job by blogging about the economic and social impacts of next generation access on www.diffractionanalysis.com and tweets under the handle of @fiberguy.
